Nine terrorists, including a “High-Value Target” in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), were killed by the security forces on Friday and Saturday in two distinct targeted intelligence-based operations, the military stated in a statement.
Two terrorists, HVT Rehmat Ullah, also known as Badar Mansur, and Ts Amjad, also known as Babr, were killed in an intelligence-based operation carried out by the security forces in Tank District, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Seven militants were slain in another operation that took place in the South Waziristan district following a fierce gunfight.
These terrorists were also discovered to be engaged in many terrorist acts and to be in possession of explosives, guns, and ammo.
According to the statement, they were engaged in a number of terrorist operations in the area, including assaults on security personnel, extortion, and the deliberate slaughter of defenseless citizens.
Nevertheless, after fighting valiantly during the operation, Sepoy Shahzeb Aslam, a 29-year-old inhabitant of the Haripur region, was slain.
“[The] security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” according to the ISPR.
In K-P’s Mardan district on Monday, two terrorists were slain by security personnel during an intelligence-driven operation.
During the operation, there was a firefight that resulted in the deaths of both terrorists.
