The reduction in the price of medical injections, specifically for a million units, from Rs 2,987 to Rs 1,036 indicates a noticeable influence on the accessibility of medicines that can save lives. The decrease also applies to injections containing 2 million and 3 million units, indicating a dedication to increasing the accessibility of necessary medications at all care levels.
As we rejoice over this encouraging development, we must also acknowledge the health ministry’s ongoing efforts to stop the spread of phony and unlicensed medications.
