Sana Javed, a Pakistani actress, won over admirers with a touching shot of herself and cricket player Shoaib Malik. She hasn’t shared a peek of them since the thrilling Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 opening ceremony earlier in February.
The actor posted the newlywed couple’s first PSL photo on her official Instagram profile on Thursday. The photo was taken at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
A couple of emojis, a love, and an amulet meant to ward off evil luck were included in the caption of Sana’s post, along with a picture of the couple.
The Karachi Kings’ all-rounder, Malik, can also be seen holding the ‘Moment of the Match’ award he won after the match against Peshawar Zalmi on Wednesday in Lahore.
It should be mentioned that when Sana and Shoaib announced their marriage in January, fans and followers were taken aback by their sudden union.
The couple posted pictures of their wedding on their social media accounts — X and Instagram.
“Alhamdullilah. And We created you in pairs,” Shoaib and Sana wrote.
Malik is among the Pakistani cricket players with the longest tenure, it should be mentioned. 24 years after making his debut for his country in October 1999 against the West Indies in Sharjah, he is still going strong at the highest level.
The all-rounder played in 287 one-day matches for Pakistan after making his ODI debut in 1999. In those games, he took 158 wickets and scored 7534 runs at an average of 34.55.
All-rounder Malik participated in just 35 Test matches throughout his brief career, amassing 1898 runs at a career-best 35.14, including a career-high 245 against England in the United Arab Emirates in 2015. In the process, he claimed 32 wickets.
In Twenty20 Internationals, the 41-year-old claimed 28 wickets in 49 innings while scoring 2435 runs at 31.21 with a strike rate of 125.64.
