On Monday in Karachi’s North Nazimabad neighborhood, a security guard shot and killed a TikToker. The location was close to Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi.
Details indicate that the incident happened while the TikToker was filming a video at the Sareena Mobile Market. He claims the security guard told him to stop filming and get out of there right away.
The victim persisted in recording in spite of the guard’s warnings, which is said to have incited the guard to open fire in retaliation.
According to police, the TikToker passed away immediately. After that, his body was taken to the hospital so that formalities could be completed.
When police arrived on the scene after the incident, they gathered evidence and took the security guard into custody. The situation is still being looked into.
