Seven Pakistanis were included in Forbes' 30 under 30 list

Forbes ‘ 30 Under 30 Asia list honors 300 young innovators and entrepreneurs under 30 who have revolutionized their respective sectors in the Asia-Pacific region.

Sarkhail Shahid Bawany (ABHI) of Pakistan, Adeel Abid (Linkstar), Aizaz Nayyer (Linkstar), Ali Raza (Linkstar), Aleena Nadeem (EduFi), Kasra Zunnaiyyer (Trukkr), and artist Bushra Sultan are among those honored.

ABHI – Sarkhail Shahid Bawany

When employees require emergency cash, the initiative led by ABHI Head of Product Sarkhail Shahid Bawany allows them to deduct a portion of their wages before receiving their next payment. Adeel Abid, Aizaz Nayyer, and Ali Raza – Linkstar

Linkstar, a freelancer platform based in Karachi, was co-founded by Adeel Abid, Aizaz Nayyer, and Ali Raza. The business assists independent contractors in building free portfolio websites that may be updated over time using their advanced features. Co-founder Ali Raza gave his team’s diligence the credit for this triumph. “Although it is only a minor turning point in our path, this validates the amazing work that our team has done over the last three years. We’re being diligent and committed to our goal of developing new talent throughout the MENAP area.

Aleena Nadeem – EduFi

Aleena Nadeem is the founder of EduFi, a startup established in Lahore with the slogan “Study Now, Pay Later.” The company wants to assist more Pakistanis in financing their higher education. In order to pay the tuition for accepted students, EduFi has partnered with 27 institutions around the US that conduct credit checks. Once they begin their studies, these students can return the loan each month.

Kasra Zunnaiyyer – Trukkr

Co-founder and chief technology officer of Karachi-based Trukkr, which created a management platform for Pakistan’s logistics industry, is Zunnaiyyer. The 2020-founded company enables users to track their fleets, communicate with consumers, and apply for financing. Global investors have taken notice of Trukkr since it is one of the first digital services aimed at the nation’s small and medium-sized trucking enterprises.

Bushra Sultan – Artist

Bushra Sultan is a filmmaker, production designer, and creative director from Lahore who specializes in questioning social norms that restrict women. ‘Guria’ for Demesne Couture and ‘Chimera’, campaigns that tackle women’s issues in Pakistan, are two of her significant works.

Forbes Asia had to sort through over 4000 applications, so being selected is a significant accomplishment that is well-deserved. Forbes used criteria like funding, income, social effect, scale, ingenuity, and potential to narrow down their choices. Companies that provide IT solutions for manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and other industries were among the other top performers on the coveted list.
