Shiraz's father is praised by Ayesha Omar and Mishi Khan for his "excellent parenting"

Mohammad Shiraz, the well-known young Pakistani vlogger who won over many fans with his captivating videos, recently announced that he was leaving YouTube. Five days ago, he published his “last vlog,” which shocked and alarmed his admirers. Shiraz announced in the video that he would no longer create vlogs since his father wanted him to focus on academics.

In a YouTube clip, Shiraz’s father, Muhammad Taqi, recently offered more explanation for this choice. He revealed that Shiraz’s behavior and general well-being started to suffer due to his unexpected celebrity and internet popularity. Taqi saw notable shifts in his son’s behavior, pointing out that Shiraz—who was formerly seen as friendly and outgoing—had grown more reclusive and unrespectful of others.

Taqi gave the following explanation: “Shiraz used to speak politely to people and had a modest existence. However, there were drawbacks to the fame. He stopped interacting or having polite conversations with individuals. Thus, I reasoned that I ought to revive that previous Shiraz.”

Taqi has received a lot of appreciation for choosing to put his son’s wellbeing and early years ahead of the glamour of internet fame. One well-known actress who applauded his action was Ayesha Omar. Omar expressed her gratitude for Taqi’s acts in a poignant Instagram story, calling them an example of “excellent parenting.”

But Omar wasn’t the only celebrity in the entertainment business with opinions to offer about this choice. Mishi Khan, who has previously discussed the dangers of childhood celebrity, also made a statement on the subject. In response to criticism of her earlier video, she restated that a young, sensitive child’s experience in a major city is influenced by a multitude of circumstances.

She answered, “That is what happened.” “His father put up a post saying his behaviour changed.” That’s why, she continued, “I was against this.” This much attention shouldn’t be given to children.” Mishi responded to her critics by saying that she was 100% correct in what she had to say.

Taqi’s choice demonstrates an increasing understanding of the possible drawbacks of social media celebrity, especially for young children. Although websites like YouTube can present a wealth of potential, they also carry a number of serious concerns, particularly with regard to personal growth and mental health.
