Nausheen Masud, an actor, producer, writer, and host, was a true legend in Pakistani entertainment. She passed away lately after a protracted fight with cancer. The entertainment industry is in deep mourning over the loss of a light who adorned screens with her diverse talents, and her departure has left a vacuum in the hearts of her fans.

“My ex-wife, Nausheen Masud, passed away this morning after a long and tough battle with cancer,” said Tariq Quraishi, Nausheen Masud’s former spouse, in a Facebook post announcing her death. She had a great love for her two sons. Her eyes brightened whenever she saw them; they were her babies, her counselors. May serenity be upon her resting place.

“Farewell to the remarkable Nausheen Masud, dear friend and beautiful soul,” was written by actor Adnan Siddiqui for the star. We had magical moments together both on and off camera because of her kindness and sense of style. I’m thankful for the memories we made together. Peacefully rest, Nausheen.” The deceased was immortalized in an Instagram photo that Sarwat Gilani posted along with the words, “Your beautiful soul, your gorgeous smile, and your warm heart will forever be missed, Nausheen.”

Actor Nadia Jamil sent a prayer on social media for the deceased after telling them, “I think you’re remarkably beautiful, that iconic smile of yours.” Uff. Tabahi. (Demolition). I wish we had more time together. I’ve read a lot about you and you were a wonderful person who left a lot of love in your wake. We’re all moving in the same direction. Returning to our rightful place, yet retaining the energy and karma we generated during our time here. And it appears that you have produced a lot of joy, love, friendship, and creativity. She spent more than 30 years traveling with me since the beginning of Strings. I’m glad our paths intersected and feel privileged to have had such wonderful times with you. I still clearly recall her kind demeanor from the Lori video shoot; she made every minute enjoyable and joyful. Precious recollections of the days of Indus Music and the Music Channel.
