Ozzy Osbourne Laid to Rest After Emotional Black Sabbath Tribute

More than a week after the tragic death of Ozzy Osbourne, on July 22, which followed his final performance with fellow Black Sabbath members in Birmingham last month, the heavy metal icon was laid to rest.

As reported by foreign media, Osbourne was buried on Thursday, July 31, at his Buckinghamshire home, a day after his wife Sharon and four of his six children – Aimee, Kelly, Jack, and Louis – led the tributes to the Prince of Darkness at a procession in his hometown.

Why did Ozzy Osbourne apologise to a Black Sabbath member before his death?

According to the details, the body of Osbourne, who died at 76 after years-long battle with Parkinson’s disease, was transported to the Black Sabbath bridge and bench, where fans left flowers and messages for the late veteran, while his fellow members of the heavy metal band, as well as singer Yungblud, joined the live brass band for his public memorial.

“It was important to the city that we support a fitting, dignified tribute ahead of a private family funeral,” said Zafar Iqbal, the mayor of Birmingham, while speaking to media reporters. “We know how much this moment will mean to his fans.”
