Rain-Shortened Match Sees Pakistan Set Revised Target for West Indies in Second ODI
Multiple rain delays disrupted the flow of the game, cutting Pakistan’s innings short to just 37 overs. Despite the interruptions, Hasan Nawaz played a steady innings, finishing unbeaten on 36 as Pakistan posted a total of 171 runs for seven wickets.
Due to the rain interruptions, the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method came into play, adjusting the West Indies’ target to 181 runs in 35 overs.
Earlier in the match, the West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first in this second ODI clash against Pakistan.
Pakistan made a few changes to their lineup for the game, bringing in Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, and Abrar Ahmed, replacing Faheem Ashraf, Naseem Shah, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
On the other hand, the West Indies swapped Romario Shepherd for Justin Greaves in their playing eleven.
