Nida Yasir, the longtime host of Good Morning Pakistan, recently made a surprise guest appearance on Tabish Hashmi’s show Hasna Mana Hai. Nida shared a variety of details about her 15-year hosting career, including her accusations that Waqar Zaka was undermining her as the morning show host and the fact that she was constantly the target of memes.
Waqar Zaka made a valiant effort to get me replaced. He waged a protracted campaign to undermine my authority, the host claimed. She also said she didn’t understand why the host, an entrepreneur, was against her.
Nida recalled, “He was really friendly with me while he worked at the same channel, but he departed after that. That was nothing to do with me. The famous person said how Waqar persisted in emailing the channel’s management in an attempt to have her fired from the show. She continued, “I don’t know what I ever did to him.”
Nida also talked about her fame in the meme world, bringing up an incident from earlier this year on Shoaib Akhtar’s show where she misanswered a trick question on cricket. “I try not to become a meme, but everyone looks at me like there aren’t any other morning shows,” the woman stated.
“I told Shoaib bhai not to ask me any questions about cricket because I don’t follow the sport,” she went on. However, he asked me a question regarding cricket right away. Nida remembered how, taken aback by the question, she completely blanked out and said the first thing that came to mind.
She did, however, admit that although the trolling makes her feel down, her family helps her to laugh it off. Nida remarked, “My family finds this funny and tries to make me see the light side of things because I get depressed a lot.”
The morning show host gave the excuse that she doesn’t have time because of several domestic issues. “I have three children of different ages, and their father is no less of a child himself,” the woman remarked with a giggle. I’m unable to devote any time to acting because of this
