Pakistan Sends 21st Humanitarian Aid Consignment to Gaza

Lahore/Cairo: Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people was once again on display as Ambassador Aamir Shouket received the 21st aid consignment in Egypt. Speaking on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and local officials for facilitating the transfer of aid.

The handover ceremony was also attended by General Asim, Deputy Governor of North Sinai, who praised Pakistan’s consistent humanitarian efforts in the region.

Ambassador Shouket reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestinians, noting that additional consignments are already on their way and will be delivered in close coordination with Egyptian authorities in the coming days.

According to official statements, Pakistan has now sent a total of 21 aid consignments, totaling 2,027 tons of essential supplies, to Gaza via Egypt. The relief operation was conducted in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Al-Khidmat Foundation, with the supplies formally handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for onward delivery to Gaza.

This latest consignment was transported via a special chartered aircraft carrying 100 tons of necessities, including flour, ready-to-eat meals, edible oil, jam, and fruit cocktails, underscoring Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian relief amid the crisis.

The aid comes as Gaza continues to face severe shortages of food, medicine, and shelter, with thousands displaced and infrastructure damaged due to ongoing conflicts. Pakistan’s continued support highlights its solidarity with the Palestinian people and its dedication to international humanitarian efforts.

Earlier today, the consignment was dispatched from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, marking another significant step in Pakistan’s relief operations for Gaza.
