In a stunning turn of events, two young brothers who were reported missing from the city’s North Nazimabad neighborhood were located sixteen hours later.
The paramilitary force spokesperson said that they were abducted and that the abductors had contacted their mother to demand a ransom of Rs. 1 million before turning them over to the police. Police, however, think that the two brothers’ independent departure from home was brought on by the harsh treatment they endured at their grandparents’ home.
According to information, two residents of North Nazimabad Block H, Ayan, 12, and Anabiya, 11, went out at 11 p.m. on Tuesday to purchase potato chips but never came back. The family searched the area before calling the Hyderi police, who opened an abduction case based on Salman, the maternal uncle’s account.
Eight years ago, the children’s parents split, according to the maternal uncle. Shumaila Naz, their mother, is a TikToker and presently resides in Dubai. The family says they are friendly with everyone, and the kids reside with their grandma.
In an unexpected change of circumstances, the supposed kidnapping came to an anticlimax. Shumaila Naz attested to the fact that her kids had been located. A spokeswoman for the Rangers said that the mother of the children got a call from overseas seeking a Rs. 1 million ransom. As soon as they got the information, Rangers and police used contemporary technology to trace the kids. In order to evade capture, the abductors abandoned the kids in the Hydari region and ran away.
SSP Central Zeeshan Siddiqui, however, asserts that the siblings acknowledged in their testimony that they had voluntarily left their house. In his statement while detained by the police, Ayan stated, “We spent the night at an uncle’s house and left the house of our own free will.”
Their aunt had them do the dishes and clean the bathroom, while Ayan’s younger sister said that their grandma mistreated them. Additional inquiries into the event are being carried out by police.
