To help people get ready for the yearly Haj pilgrimage, passport delivery counters in Pakistan will now be open on weekends from March 2 to March 15.
This decision aims to make it easier for those planning to go for Haj and to speed up the process of getting passports. Mustafa Jamal Qazi, the Director General of Immigration and Passports, highlighted the importance of this step. He mentioned that passport delivery centers will now be open on Saturdays and Sundays during this period.
Moreover, people who need passport services can also get help from 9 am to 1 pm on Fridays. This change is especially helpful for the 28,000 Haj pilgrims who are choosing the official pilgrimage package.
