Celebrated actor Shaan Shahid’s new spy thriller, Red, White, and Green, will feature a star-studded ensemble, including his former co-star Humaima Malick, who announced the news on her Instagram account.
The next movie, which delves into the worlds of US and Pakistani intelligence services, will be directed by Shaan. Shaan is set to star in the film alongside actors Humaima, Mohib Mirza, and Uzma Khan in addition to directing it. The film’s patriotic themes and Shaan’s comeback to acting excite fans, even though the release date has not yet been revealed.
Red, White, and Green is Shaan’s second collaboration with both Humaima and Mohib and his big-screen comeback. The actors collaborated on Arth (2017) before.
Red, White, and Green has been hailed as a patriotic spy thriller; in contrast, Arth, a 1982 film version under the same name, addressed themes of love, betrayal, self-discovery, and empowerment. Shaan portrays Ali in the movie, who is portrayed by Humaima and starts an affair with Umaima. In the guise of Umer, Mohib consoled Ali’s abandoned wife.
Arth’s story of love, betrayal, and redemption was dramatic and concluded on a bright note. It underscored the significance of personal development and self-respect. It remains to be seen if Red, White, and Green, with its combination of drama and action, can replicate the same notes of optimism.
