3 Killed in Lakki Marwat After Wall Collapses During Heavy Rain
Lakki Marwat: Three people died in a tragic accident at Qila Ground in Lakki Marwat due to heavy rain. According to police, a wall collapsed, and the victims were buried under the debris.
The deceased include Shaukatullah and two women from the same family. Police and rescue teams quickly reached the scene and moved the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Naurang.
Over 220 Dead in Nationwide Rain-Related Incidents
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said that 221 people have died and more than 500 were injured due to monsoon rains across Pakistan between June 26 and July 21.
Among the dead are 104 children and 40 women. In the last 24 hours alone, five more people have died — including two men and three children — while 10 others were injured in similar incidents.
The NDMA also reported that more than 804 houses have been destroyed due to heavy rains.
