Rain Forecast for Many Parts of Pakistan
The weather report says that light to moderate rain with strong winds is expected in many areas of Sindh on July 3 and 4. These areas include:
Tharparkar
Mirpur Khas
Sanghar
Hyderabad
Thatta
Badin
Karachi
Sukkur
Larkana
Jacobabad
Khairpur
Heavy rain may also fall in some parts of southeastern Sindh.
In other areas of Sindh, the weather will stay hot and humid.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that monsoon rains will increase across the country starting July 5, as moisture from the sea is entering the country. A weather system from the west is also expected to reach northern Pakistan on July 6.
Rain in Other Areas:
Balochistan: Rain is expected in the northeast and south on July 3–4 and again from July 6–8.
Kashmir & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Rain with wind and thunderstorms is likely from July 5–10. Some places may see heavy to very heavy rain.
Gilgit-Baltistan: Rain is expected from July 6–10 with breaks in between.
Punjab & Islamabad: These areas will also get rain with wind or thunderstorms and some heavy rainfall from July 5–10.
Southern Punjab (Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, D.G. Khan, Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Layyah): Rain is expected from July 6–8.
