The first-ever national career expo is being announced by the Ministry of Energy’s Petroleum Division in partnership with Pakistan Petroleum Limited, a prominent national exploration and production company. The event is scheduled to take place on January 31 and February 1, 2024, at the Pakistan China Friendship Centre in Islamabad.
The Career Expo 2024, themed “Fuelling Futures,” seeks to raise awareness and close the knowledge gap between students and companies involved in the oil, gas, and mineral industries. Senior management and HR representatives from top companies will be present at the event, facilitating meaningful interactions and providing attendees with career development resources. This will give attending undergraduates and graduates a unique opportunity to learn about exciting career prospects in the energy and mineral sector.
Mr. Muhammad Ali, the Minister of Energy, stated that he had high hopes for the forthcoming occasion and that it demonstrates our dedication to supporting employee innovation and talent development. The future energy plan must prioritize investing in the education and skill-building of our youth, as only then will we be able to fully utilize the potential of upcoming engineers, subject matter experts, and specialists.
Students are urged to take advantage of the upcoming chance to network with top businesses, investigate a variety of industries, and learn from experts in their industry.
The event aims to bring together more than 5,000 students from top universities in Pakistan who are participating in various engineering and business management programs. The Career Expo strives to develop and support the future generation of professionals in the mining and energy industries. It is also open to high school students who wish to learn about current trends and pursue professions in these disciplines.
All registrants are cordially invited to this national Career Expo, which provides an unrivaled chance to network with business executives, establish connections between academics and industry, and promote meaningful dialogue between the next generation of energy think tanks and workers.
