Leading Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) figure Dr. Yasmin Rashid was taken to a nearby hospital on Wednesday following a fainting incident at Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore, according to Express News.
According to sources, Dr. Rashid’s elevated blood pressure prompted an emergency room visit to Lahore’s Services Hospital. At the moment, she is receiving care at the facility.
The PTI leader has now been admitted to the hospital thrice. She was admitted to the hospital last month due to a cough and sore throat.
Reports in the media state that Dr. Rashid visited the hospital’s medicine and pulmonology departments for examinations. After these evaluations and the prescription of several drugs, medical professionals returned her to Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The attack and arson at Jinnah House in Lahore on May 9 of last year led to the arrest of the former Punjab health minister.
