Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara chances of survival are low

K2 was Sadpara’s team second attempt after failing their first attempt a month ago. Ali Sadpara along with Juan Pablo from Chile and John Snorri from Iceland had started their journey after Sadpara’s birthday. He was wholeheartedly wished by his fan and he told them to keep them in their prayers.

Sajid Sadpara, the son of Ali Sadpara, has said that the chances that his father is alive are very less. In conversation, he said that; Rescue operations now only make sense if they are carried out to bring back his body. Otherwise, for the chance for anyone to survive at 8,000 meters after being missing for two to three days is quite not possible.

Two army helicopters flew at 7,800 meters for a second time and conducted aerial view for an hour. The search team traced the Abruzzi and other routes. But they did not see any of the mountaineers.

The operation was not successful due to cloudy conditions and strong winds. Due to which it was temporarily suspended.

The search began on Saturday with aerial reconnaissance. But the helicopters returned due to worst weather conditions which made the search harder to continue, according to Chhang Dawa Sherpa.

They were reported missing on Saturday. After their support team stopped receiving reports from them. During their ascent of the 8,611-metre high K2 mountain. The base camp received no signals from Sadpara and his foreign companions after 8,000 meters.
