On Wednesday, the Pakistani rupee strengthened by 0.06% in the interbank market, marking its eleventh straight week of gains versus the US dollar. The currency’s continuous rising trajectory can be attributed to favorable market conditions and economic fundamentals, as evidenced by this steady appreciation.

The Pakistani rupee ended the day at 282.20 versus the US dollar, up Rs0.17, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). Based on the central bank’s monitoring and assessment of the currency rate, this adjustment represents a little strengthening of the rupee.

The Pakistani rupee had a minor uptick on Tuesday, ending the day at 282.37 in relation to the US dollar.

International pressure mounted on the US dollar on Wednesday as the euro got closer to a four-month high. Expectations of an impending Federal Reserve interest rate decrease impacted market mood. Thin year-end flows caused limited moves, which added to the cautious trading atmosphere in the world currency market.
