Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked in Pakistan
The Government of Pakistan has announced a fresh increase in fuel prices, effective from July 16 to July 31, 2025, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.
The price of petrol has been raised by Rs5.36 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs272.15 per litre. Meanwhile, high-speed diesel has seen a more significant increase of Rs11.37 per litre, taking its price to Rs284.35 per litre.
The Finance Ministry stated that the price revision comes in line with fluctuations in global oil markets and the current exchange rate. The revised prices will remain in effect until the end of the month.
This marks the latest in a series of fuel price adjustments, directly impacting transportation costs, inflation, and household budgets across the country.
