False receipts were not feasible in such a system, he added, emphasizing that using a paperless system eliminated “fraud.”

“Now we are trying to [replicate] this in our government, to bring about e-governance,” he said. The premier also stated that his administration was also attempting to address land conflicts. Pointing out that half of all cases filed in the courts had related to land disputes.

Furthermore, he stated that the government was “computerizing land records,” and that all records in Islamabad will digital by August. “This is the way to proceed.”

When asked about election changes, the prime minister stated that the administration wants abroad Pakistanis to vote. “They are such a valuable asset that the country relies on their remittances. However, they are unable to vote in elections.”

He stated that the government wanted Nadra to implement a failsafe system and that computerized voting machines would eliminate manipulation. He said that anyone who wants to contest the outcome would have to present a paper trail to the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Former US President Donald Trump stated that he attempted to contest the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. “However, because of the use of technology, he was powerless to refute it.” “We will also attempt to hold elections in the same manner.”
