Prime Minister Imran directs to strictly ensure COVID-19 SOPs

Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday; directed authorities to strictly ensure the implementation of COVID-19 SOPs and highlighted that the third-wave is more lethal in comparison to the earlier two.

According to the details, a meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) for COVID-19; was held in Islamabad. Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired the meeting via video link.

The meeting discussed the prevailing situation of the pandemic

Speaking on the occasion, PM said that,

‘We cannot afford a complete lockdown, as it will affect the working class.’

Imran Khan added that the health protocols must follow to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Imran Khan said that ‘The smart lockdown policy will remain in place, our smart lockdown policy has been successful before as well.

In the coming days, Christians celebrate Easter, while Muslims begin the fasting month of Ramadan on April 13.
