LAHORE; PML-N requests a judicial commission from the government to probe the Rawalpindi Ring Road fiasco, which includes over 100 judges from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Ataullah Tarar, speaking to the media, said that the Rawalpindi Ring Road fiasco is currently the best in town. Many bureaucrats had transferred as a result of the scam, he added.
He said that Rs2.3 billion had been paying to numerous property dealers. The majority of whom were Zulfi Bukhari and Ghulam Sarwar’s front men. Usman Bazar held two meetings via PND to remodel the project, according to him.
He requested that the Punjab government release the project’s initial plan and inform the public about where the project began and ended. Tarar went on to say that the Chief Minister’s Adviser, Salman Shah, had also met about it.
According to the PMLN official, the Punjab government is purchasing property and compensating residents. He said that compensation granted to like-minded citizens only because the prime friends of ministers and advisors live there. He said that while Imran Khan has always said that he will not give NRO to the opposition. Also, he has never taken action against his people, and it appears that he will do so again this time.
Tarar calls PTI a real ‘thief’
According to Tarar, the PML-N intended 26 kilometers, but the PTI government increased it to 66 kilometers, and the project has also expanded to Islamabad. Zulfi Bukhari and Ghulam Sarwar, he said, benefited. He called it a daylight robbery committed by PTI stalwarts. “You have carried out this robbery using government resources and extended the project to 66 kilometers,” he stated, the PML-N government accused of wrongdoing in the Ashiana scheme, which was a public-private venture, with no results so far. Also, PML-N requests a judicial commission from the government in the case.
He chastised the government for using officials as scapegoats. According to him, Usman Buzdar’s adviser Salman Shah authorized it on February 19, 2021, and two PTI leaders granted crores of rupees.
He requested that Zulfi Bukhari and Ghulam Sarwar promptly dismiss the cabinet. Additionally, he asked a Supreme Court commission appoint to investigate the scandal. He also asked the Supreme Court to look into the matter. He also teased, Let’s see what Shahzad Akbar does with this issue.
According to Tarar, the government’s friends first exported sugar, which filled their pockets, “If you are so transparent, write to the Supreme Court to conduct a transparent investigation,” Tarar responded, adding that the PML-N would not let the government off the hook on this subject.
