The Pakistani automaker Indus Motor Company, which is well-known for building Toyota vehicles, has revealed a large price cut for their array of Yaris sedans. The savings on a variety of models vary from Rs73,000 to Rs133,000.
For example, the price of the 1.3 MT LO, 1.3 CVT LO, and 1.3 MT Hi versions has been reduced by Rs73,000 for each model. They are now available for Rs4.326 million, Rs4.616 million, and Rs4.586 million, respectively.
In a similar vein, the Yaris CVT Hi now costs Rs4.766 million after a price reduction of Rs133,000. This move is in reaction to the recent hike in the sales tax, which was made to 25% on cars costing more than Rs 4 million. These pricing changes mean that Yaris vehicles are now subject to the 18% sales tax rate.
