The Finance Division of Pakistan is seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to fill the position of Project Director for the ongoing “Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure Project (FIIP).” This role will be on a contract basis in Project Pay Scale-11, equivalent to BPS-21. The project is slated for completion by June 30, 2025, and the initial appointment will be for the remaining period of the project, subject to extension based on satisfactory performance.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a BS(4 years) in Economics, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT/MBA/MPA, or equivalent from an HEC recognized University. They should possess at least 10 years of experience in Project Management/implementation, along with knowledge and experience in Information Technology and basic Project management. Experience in handling Government or World Bank-funded projects is preferred. The maximum age limit for this position is 63 years at the time of appointment.
Responsibilities of Project Director
The Project Director will be responsible for monitoring the project and supervising project activities to ensure smooth implementation.
Pay Package
The selected candidate will receive a pay package as per prescribed/determined by the Finance Division of the Government of Pakistan for PPS-11 equivalent to BPS-21.
