The 2021 Pakistan Super League(PSL) has entered its sixth installment and, Cricket we love you! the anticipation has reached a fever pitch; everyone!

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that 2020 has not been a fun year for anyone, which is why everyone is drooling over the prospect of a cricket extravaganza coming back to our country.

The PSL has always capturing charm from cricket fans all around the world and PSL 2021 is no exception.

With the announcement of the PSL 2021 Schedule; the buildup to this cricket festival has everyone anxious.

In fact; The PSL 2021 is going to play in Pakistan, popular cities like Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan are gearing up to celebrate the cricket festivities and support their home franchise.

The PSL has also helped Pakistan in producing some of the best young cricket talents, the national team had been looking for.

Local players have been given a platform to show their talent as well as pick the brains of some of the best players currently in international cricket.

PSL Opening Ceremony

A lively PSL Schedule of competitive match-ups has blown a different wave of excitement in the country.

Since the competition began in early 2015, the PSL trophy has lifted twice by Islamabad United, once by Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.

However, the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League was memorable as Karachi Kings defeated arch-rivals Lahore Qalandar to become PSL 2020 Champions.

The defending champions will also get the honor of hosting the opening ceremony at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The opening ceremony will take place on 20 February 20, followed by the opening match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United on the same day at the same venue.

PSL 2021 Venues

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the day matches will begin at 2 pm; while the night matches will start around 7 pm (Pakistan Standard Time).

The pre-determined factors include the opening ceremony; which will conduct on 20 February and the final match of PSL 2021 will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

The final is scheduled to take place on the 22nd of March, 2020. We are going to discuss the PSL Schedule of each team below.

PSL 6 Schedule Breakdown Venue Wise

PSL 6 will feature a total of six local franchises with a total of 112 players with ten nationalities playing together to entertain Pakistani cricket fans.

Here is a breakdown of the number of games with the venue.

Lahore – Gaddafi Stadium: 17 matches
Karachi – National Stadium: 9 matches
Rawalpindi – Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium: 5 matches
Multan – Multan Cricket Stadium: 3 matches

PSL 6 supposed to feature two new venues; (Bugti Stadium and Arbab Niaz Stadium from Quetta and Peshawar respectively) this year.

However, due to the pandemic and safety issues, the two popular cities will not be hosting any matches this year.
