Erin Holland, an Australian sports broadcaster, is returning to Pakistan to cover the Pakistan Super League’s ninth season. While seeing Multan, Holland took advantage of the chance to pay a particular visit to the esteemed mausoleum of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam.
Holland showcased the architectural wonder and cultural relevance of the ancient shrine through snippets she shared on her Instagram profile during her tour. She managed to catch the intricate details of the old domed ceiling from the interior in one stunning image, emphasizing the building’s enduring beauty.
With her elegantly coordinated floral dupatta and stylish plum co-ord set, Holland looked stunning as she paid her respects at the shrine. In a candid photo, she was seen placing a traditional chaddar—a mark of respect—on the holy place.
Holland stated in the description that went with the image, “The tomb of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam is the first thing that comes up when you google ‘what to see in Multan.'” and it certainly didn’t let me down.
The sports anchor thought back on how she helped open doors for women all across the world to have limitless opportunities. She said, “It takes time, I think.” However, I’m not only directing my criticism at female athletes hoping to succeed. I believe that this applies to all professions. Understanding that it takes time is crucial.
She went on, “Women have been paving the way in my country, and it is wonderful to see Pakistan providing greater opportunities for women in sports.” PSL is paving the road for female cricket players, and we should be proud of this.
She hoped that someday a little girl will be inspired by her, Abbas, Urooj Mumtaz Khan, or Sana Mir. “I hope that when these young ladies see us, they recognize themselves in us. We are all one people, and the reason we are here is to play this game that we like.
