In Lahore’s Akbari Gate area, the rooftop of a house collapsed due to the relentless downpour, killing three people. A similar tragedy occurred in Faisalabad’s Iqbal Colony, where a mother and her daughter died when their house gave way under the pressure of rain.

Railway Traffic Suspended in Chiniot

In Chiniot, heavy rainfall brought down electric poles and live wires onto railway tracks, forcing a complete halt in train operations. Authorities are working to restore power and resume train services as soon as conditions allow.

Rawalpindi and Islamabad Drenched by Torrential Rain

The flooding destroyed roads and submerged low-lying areas in Talla Gang, Kallar Kahar, and Choa Saidan Shah. The Panwal Dam was reportedly swept away by flash floods. Dozens of villages were cut off from the main city, prompting local authorities to request military assistance for rescue operations.
