Roshan Digital Account Sees Strong Growth, Reaches 832K Accounts by June 2025
KARACHI – The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) Roshan Digital Account (RDA) initiative continues to show strong momentum, with total registered accounts reaching 831,963 by the end of June 2025. This marks an increase of 8,739 accounts from May’s total of 823,224.
Launched to streamline remittances and investment options for Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs), the RDA offers a range of banking and investment services for overseas citizens, including those holding Pakistan Origin Cards (POCs).
According to the SBP’s latest data, RDA inflows in May stood at US$182 million, slightly down from US$201 million in April 2025, but higher than the US$177 million recorded in March.
Overseas Pakistanis have so far invested US$466 million in Naya Pakistan Certificates, US$926 million in Naya Pakistan Islamic Certificates, and US$70 million in Roshan Equity Investments.
The RDA program has become a critical pillar in attracting foreign exchange inflows, offering a secure and convenient platform for NRPs to engage with Pakistan’s financial and investment landscape.
