Salman Khan Suffers On-Set Injuries While Filming ‘Battle of Galwan’ in Ladakh
Salman Khan, currently shooting the first biopic of his three-decade-long career, Battle of Galwan, has reportedly sustained injuries on set. The actor spent at least 15 days of the 45-day first schedule filming in Ladakh, enduring extreme weather and low oxygen levels.
A source close to the production revealed, “Salman Khan and the crew shot Battle of Galwan in sub-10 degree temperatures in Ladakh. Despite his injuries, Salman pushed through the physical challenges to complete the schedule.”
Following the intense shoot, Khan is taking a short break before resuming filming in Mumbai. The second schedule promises more high-octane action along with emotional sequences for the star.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Battle of Galwan is based on Shiv Aroor’s best-selling book India’s Most Fearless 3, which chronicles the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. The film also stars Chitrangda Singh and Abhilash Chaudhary.
While the release date has not been officially announced, industry insiders expect the action-packed drama to hit theatres sometime next year.
