Test cricketers Saud Shakeel and Umar Amin lead the Pakistan Whites and Pakistan Greens teams, comprising players from the pre-season training camp and Pakistan Shaheens’ squad.
Umar Amin opted to bat first in the first match, while the second match will be played tomorrow at the same venue.
It is worth noting that, the opening batter Imam-ul-Haq is not playing today’s match due to health problems.
The pre-season training camp is being attended by 25 cricketers, including 15 players, who are part of Pakistan Shaheens’ squad for the tour of Darwin.
In Darwin, Pakistan Shaheens will play two four-day matches against Bangladesh ‘A’, two 50-over matches against Northern Territory and Bangladesh, and also participate in the nine-team Top End T20 Series.
