Shahbaz thanks Saudi leadership for assistance during floods
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to upgrade and enhance bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in line with the requirements of the changing world. During the PM visit. Prince Muhammed bin Salman held a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif.
The Prince left his delegation and took the premier to his farmhouse where they held a one-on-one meeting. They reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the fraternal bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
PM Shehbaz and Crown Prince Salman agreed to upgrade and enhance bilateral ties and fraternal bonds between the two countries to “new heights”.
The Prime Minister thanked the Saudi leadership for extending assistance to Pakistan during the devastating floods, particularly for establishing the air bridge between Riyadh and Islamabad to provide relief goods in flood affected areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed bin Salman termed the fraternal ties between Pakistan and Sandi Arabia very important for the two countries as well as for the region and the world. Taking to his Twitter handle, Prime Minister Shehbaz wrote: “Just had an excellent meeting with HRH

Later, the premier and his accompanying delegation performed Umrah at Makkah’s Grand Mosque. PM Shehbaz “prayed for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan as well as Muslim ummah.” Shehbaz Sharif also paid his respects at the Roza-e-Rasool of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and prayed for the solidarity of Pakistan and prosperity of its people.
The prime minister offered prayers at the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH). Shehbaz Sharif along with his delegation also paid respects at the shines of the martyrs of Ghazva-e
Uhad. Earlier, Governor Madinah Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received the prime minister on his arrival at the Madinah airport.
