The Cabinet praised the first meeting of the Saudi-Indonesian Supreme Coordination Council. At this meeting, both countries signed several deals in areas like clean energy, chemicals, and aviation fuel services. Dr. Essam bin Saeed, the Acting Minister of Media, said a new law has been introduced to control and organize foreign property ownership in Saudi Arabia. The Cabinet also said that Saudi Arabia is still playing an important role in keeping the global oil market stable by working closely with OPEC+ countries.
Saudi Arabia will host the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in November in Riyadh. The conference will focus on sustainable manufacturing, new technologies, and innovation.
In the digital and cybersecurity areas, Saudi Arabia’s leadership was praised. The Cabinet welcomed the UN Human Rights Council’s approval of a Saudi-led resolution to protect children online. This is part of the Crown Prince’s “Child Online Safety” initiative.
The Cabinet also noted that Saudi Arabia is ranked number one in global cybersecurity in the 2025 World Competitiveness Yearbook. It is also leading in the International Telecommunication Union’s 2025 ICT Development Index, thanks to its strong digital systems and a growing digital economy now worth SR495 billion.
