Sindh Chief Minister Highlights Religious Tolerance, Responds to Recent Gulshan-e-Iqbal Incident
Sindh’s Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, reaffirmed the province’s long-standing reputation as a beacon of religious tolerance—not just in Pakistan, but globally.
Speaking on the occasion, he expressed deep sorrow over the recent tragic accident in Gulshan-e-Iqbal that resulted in loss of life. “We are actively investigating the unrest and lawlessness that followed the incident,” the Chief Minister stated.
Addressing the violence that ensued, including the burning of seven dumpers, he vowed, “Those responsible will be held accountable and brought to justice.”
He further warned that dumpers would be banned from the roads if they fail to install cameras within the next 15 days, emphasizing the government’s commitment to public safety and law enforcement.
