Sindh Government Distributes Free Pink Electric Scooters to Working Women

KARACHI – The Sindh government organized a special ceremony to distribute free pink electric scooters to working women across the province.

The event was attended by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, and other dignitaries.

Speaking at the ceremony, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said the government is committed to providing facilities to women, particularly those who are employed. He highlighted Sindh’s efforts in leading green initiatives, noting that the province is the first in Pakistan to introduce electric buses.

Distribution Process
The scooters will be allocated through a transparent balloting process, conducted in the presence of both print and electronic media. A committee, including members from the Excise, Transport, and Finance departments along with media representatives, will oversee the process to ensure fairness.

Visit the Sindh Mass Transit Authority’s website.

Navigate to the “Projects” section.

Click on “EV Scooty Ballot Form – Application Form.”

Complete the form, attach the required documents, and submit.
