Sindh Government to Distribute Free Pink Electric Scooters to Women This Week
Karachi – The Sindh government has announced that it will start distributing pink electric scooters to women and female students starting this week. The decision came during a meeting chaired by Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, where the Pink Scooters Program was reviewed in detail.
Describing the initiative as a “revolutionary step,” Memon said the scheme will make daily commutes much easier for women. He encouraged students and working women alike to take full advantage of the program.
“Through this initiative, we aim to create more opportunities for women, allowing them to actively participate in education, employment, and other areas of life,” Memon added. “The government is committed to empowering women in every sphere, and this program is a positive step toward their independence.”
The move is part of Sindh’s broader efforts to promote women’s empowerment and facilitate mobility across the province.
