KARACHI – If you want to transfer a car or motorcycle in Sindh, here is a step-by-step guide to help you.
Step 1: Biometric Verification
First, the buyer and seller must go to a NADRA or E-Sahulat Centre for biometric verification.
Step 2: Sale Agreement
Write a sale agreement on stamp paper and take it with you to the Civic Centre Karachi.
Step 3: Get Token
At the Civic Centre, get a token from the information counter.
Step 4: Submit Documents
Go to the Excise office, submit your documents, and fill out the transfer form.
Step 5: Pay the Fees
Pay the token tax and ownership transfer fee. You can pay at the Excise office or online.
Step 6: Get Receipt and New Card
After payment, you will get a receipt. Once your documents are checked, a Smart Registration Card will be given to the new owner.
The full process takes 5 to 15 working days.
