With the release of her Eras Tour concert video onDisney+ last week, Taylor Swift broke yet another record.
Taylor Swift’s rendition of the movie, Taylor: The Eras Tour, shot to the top of the streaming chart.
Following its global premiere on Disney+ on Thursday, March 14, the film racked up an unprecedented 4.6 million views in only three days, or 16.2 million hours of total streaming. Disney defines a view as follows: runtime (3.5 hours) divided by total stream time (16.2 million hours).
It’s also crucial to remember that the audience figures for other film premieres were calculated over the course of five days of viewing.
The newly extended version of the movie includes five more songs, including an acoustic rendition of Death by a Thousand Cuts, Maroon, You Are in Love, and I Can See You by Cardigan from her album Folklore.
The 26-minute acoustic collection additional features two more acoustic tracks, You’re on Your Own Kid and Our Song.
Swift‘ business produced the movie, and Disney supposedly paid over $75 million for the global streaming rights.
