Police said that an agriculture land dispute caused the bloody incident of killings.
The incident took place in the Doran Khosa village of Sohbatpur, where unidentified armed men attacked the house of a tribal elder, Ali Hassain Shaikh. “They opened fire and cold bloodedly gunned down seven persons including women and children,” RD 238 police station officials said.
After the firing incident, armed men set the hut-like house on fire. “The dead bodies charred in fire”.
Police, getting information, rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to hospital.
The police have cordoned off the area and initiated a search for the accused.
