After a brief decrease, the prices of solar panels are once again increasing in Lahore, sparking worries among consumers.
According to reports, the cost of a 7 to 15-kilowatt system has gone up by Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000, with the market seeing a rise of 6 rupees per kilowatt.
Details reveal significant price hikes across different system sizes. For example, the 7 kW system now costs around eight and a half lakh rupees, showing a Rs 25,000 increase.
Similarly, the 10 kW system has gone up from Rs 1.15 million to Rs 1.2 million, while the 12 kW system has reached Rs 1.45 million, marking a Rs 50,000 uptick. Additionally, the 15 kW system has surged to Rs 1.6 million after the price increase. These prices apply to on-grid solar systems.
For consumers considering hybrid systems with battery integration, they must consider additional expenses for batteries. With solar panel prices changing, potential buyers are encouraged to stay updated and make informed decisions regarding their energy requirements.
