Songs. In this day and age, you just can’t live without ’em. Well, I know I can’t. Honestly, I have a song for every single occasion. And, I’m pretty sure you do too. I mean, that’s why songs exist. They are mood makers! So, to show off some of the items on my recent playlist, I’m counting down five songs I just can’t stop listening to!!
1. YOU- Troye Sivan, Tate McRae, Regard
Okay. This song is ON REPEAT almost every single day. I’m not joking. Even my mom knows the lyrics to this song now. A beautifully written masterpiece by Regard, this song is sure to become a favorite soon. And you know the best part? Tate McRae and Troye Sivan (I’m a huge fan of Troye btw) lend their melodious voices to this track. It just makes everything feel right.
Let me share my fave lyric!!
No, I haven’t moved on, but trust me, I’ve tried
If I give you a call, don’t hang up the line
When the Hennessy’s strong, all I see is you
Give it a listen here!
2. HERO-Faouzia
If you haven’t heard of her, I just have one question. Are you living under a rock bro? She’s super talented and her voice is amazing. Throw some amazing lyrics into that mix and you’ve got yourself a bop. I’ve listened to this a few days and I LOVE IT. You should give it a try too!
Here are some lyrics of the song:
If I was your hero, would you be mine?
I know this ain’t a fairytale, this is real life
But if I were to save you, would you do the same?
And catch me if I’m fallin’, fallin’, fallin’, fallin’?
3. HAVE WE MET BEFORE?-Eric Nam and Sarah Barrios
Let’s get one thing straight! I don’t like to share my songs. I don’t know why. But, these songs are way too good to keep them to myself. And, I really want others to experience the joy and relatable aspects that these songs bring out. I’ve been a die hard fan of Eric Nam since I fell for BTS back in 2016. He’s a Korean singer who speaks English fluently. In this song, his English vocals are like…. THERE ARE NO WORDS. This song is my number one these days and I hope you listen to it.
4.LEAVE BEFORE YOU LOVE ME-the Jonas Brothers
The Joe Bros were my childhood. I listened to them growing up. So, the fact that they got back together and starting performing new songs is just out of this world. Their newest song is super amazing and easy on the ears. Although the lyrics might suggest otherwise, it’s a pretty cool song that you can listen to in your car or even at a small dance party! I’m not posting any lyrics. Therefore, you’ll just have to figure it out yourself!
5. BAD HABITS-Ed Sheeran
I have a question. How does Ed Sheeran pull off such new vocals every time he sings! He’s so cool. This song is off his newest album. I really like the melody, beat, and lyrics. Furthermore, it’s one the best drive songs! Next time I take out the car for a spin, this will be bursting out the back speakers!
You can listen to the whole song here!
Let me know if you listened to these songs. Feedback is highly appreciated. And if you have some suggestions for me, I’d love to listen to your music taste!

Currently, I am a student of Fatima Jinnah Women University. With a burning passion for psychology, words, and dreams, I decided to abandon medical studies for humanities. These days, when I’m not listening to ballads, watching movies, or sitting down with a good novel, I am rigorously studying Hangul (Korean language) to satisfy my obsession for BTS and K dramas. I’m a thinking introvert and INFJ personality. Therefore, I like ‘me time’. My articles typically resonate with psychological well-being advice.
