Famous batsman Babar Azam of Pakistan concluded his outstanding 2024 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) campaign as the league’s top run scorer.
The 29-year-old, who plays for Rangpur Riders, just finished his final game in the league. Babar demonstrated his batting prowess in this last game against Durdanto Dhaka, scoring 47 runs off of 43 balls to help his team to a total score of 175/4.
Babar amassed an outstanding 251 runs across the six innings of the event, all while keeping a stellar average of 50.20. With a strike percentage of 114.61, he scored two half-centuries throughout his outstanding performance.
Babar Azam and other Pakistani players have returned home following their engagements in Bangladesh; they were granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) through February 6. They are now concentrating on getting ready for the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) upcoming ninth season.
