Imad Wasim, a retired all-round player, has finally received communication from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The senior authorities of the PCB would like to meet with the all-rounder and talk about his future career goals once the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine concludes. As a result, the all-round player has received an invitation to the Lahore PCB headquarters.
Imad remarkable performance in PSL 9, in which he amassed 126 runs and claimed 12 wickets, was crucial to Islamabad United’s victory in their third PSL championship.
Imad has reportedly accepted the invitation and is scheduled to meet with national head selector Wahab Riaz and PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
Moreover, rumors suggest that Wasim will be urged to reevaluate his retirement intentions.
Even though Imad played his final T20 International for Pakistan in Rawalpindi against New Zealand a year ago, he has often said that he is open to returning to international cricket if necessary.
Until his worries are resolved, Imad is unwilling to reevaluate his retirement. He worries that he could be added back to the squad for a single series before being injured once more.
