Stars of Pakistani cricket, like as Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Babar Azam, have been included to this year’s men’s Hundred draft list as late additions.
These players are now eligible for selection by any of the eight competing clubs in the draft, which is scheduled for March 20.
Additionally, Saim Ayub, the batter, has withdrew from the draft, while Babar, Rizwan, and Afridi have a reserve price of £100,000 each. Seamer Alzarri Joseph and all-rounders Andre Russell and Jason Holder of the West Indies have raised their reserve price to £75,000.
A total of sixty men and five women from Pakistan enrolled for The Hundred Draft earlier this month. Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed have a reserve price of £75,000, while Hasan Ali and Naseem Shah have set an astonishing £100,000 for their bid. The basic price of other players, such as Abdullah Shafique, Aamer Jamal, and Muhammad Amir, is £60,000.
Azam Khan, Mir Hamza, and Mohammad Hasnain have a reserve price of £40,000, while Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, and Imad Wasim have a reserve price of £50,000 when they join the draft. Furthermore, 46 participants from Pakistan have signed up for The Hundred without indicating a reserve fee. Salman Ali Agha, Abrar Ahmed, Umar Akmal, and Asif Ali are among them.
Additionally, the draft list for the women’s division includes current Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and previous captain Bismah Maroof of Pakistan.
While Aliya Riaz and Javeria Rauf joined the draft without a reserve price, Iram Javed, Nida Dar, and Fatima Sana enrolled with a reserve price of £17,500.
The lowest price a team may spend for a player in the draft is known as their reserve price. On July 23, The Hundred’s fourth edition is set to debut.
