Acknowledging the resilience of PML-N leaders Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz, Nawaz praised their bravery in the face of adversity and their unwavering support for the party’s cause. He emphasized the injustices they have faced and commended their competence and steadfastness.

Shehbaz reciprocated the admiration, attributing his political achievements to Nawaz’s guidance and support. “I now only have one wish and that is to see Nawaz Sharif lead the country out of this crisis as the prime minister for a fourth time. My politics started with Nawaz Sharif and it will end with him”, he said.

Former federal minister Saad Rafique, speaking on the occasion, highlighted pivotal moments in PML-N’s history, such as Macircumstances, she affirmed her satisfaction with any role the party entrusted to her.

“I had decided to live a life similar to my mother’s when PML-N Quaid (Nawaz Sharif), who was cleared of all baseless accusations, returned on October 21. I did not run for office in any election and had no interest in running for any ticket. I’ll be happy to play whatever part the party thinks I should play,” she said.

Speaking to the assembly, Hamza shared the lessons his late grandpa, Mian Sharif, had taught his sons and the whole family: nothing is impossible for them if they stick together and wish each other well.

Hamza underlined that Shehbaz Sharif lived by this advice his whole life, adamantly opposing any attempts to undermine the harmony it had created.

He emphasized the persistence of this bond between Maryam and himself, which is based on the same direction from Mian Sharif. He said that the PML-N must remain united at all times to overcome Pakistan’s problems.

Rana Sanaullah, the president of PML-N Punjab, praised Shehbaz and Nawaz for their tenacity and referred to them as the party’s cornerstone. He expressed hope for the party’s future under Hamza and Maryam’s leadership and praised their accomplishments.
