In a new interview, actor David Corenswet, who plays Superman in the upcoming movie, talked about which superhero he would like Superman to team up with in the future.
At first, he agreed with his co-star that Batman would be a good choice. But then he said, “Actually, one of the Robins (Batman’s sidekick) would be interesting.” He explained that Superman has a caring, father-like personality. So, it could be fun to see him act like an uncle to a young hero like Robin.
Corenswet also said he finds the idea of Superman and Wonder Woman working together interesting. Jokingly, he added that there could even be a love triangle between Superman, Wonder Woman, and Lois Lane (Superman’s love interest).
The new ‘Superman‘ movie is written and directed by James Gunn, one of the heads of DC Studios. It stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult. The film will be released in theaters worldwide on Friday, July 11.
