In a new interview, actor Sydney Sweeney shared how happy she is to return as Cassie in season 3 of HBO’s popular show Euphoria and to work again with the cast.
“I’m so happy to be back. It feels like I’m with my original family,” Sweeney said.
“We’ve been doing this since I was 20,” she added. “Many people from the crew are still here from the first two seasons. It feels like a reunion.”
Talking about what’s coming next for her character, Cassie, she said, “It’s going to be a crazy journey. I was shocked by what happened in Cassie’s life, but I’m very excited for the show.”
Sydney Sweeney Excited to Return in ‘Euphoria’ Season 3
Euphoria, created by Sam Levinson and starring Zendaya, was renewed for a third season in early 2022 after season 2 ended. Filming was planned for December that year.
But production was delayed because of Hollywood strikes and the sudden deaths of cast member Angus Cloud and producer Kevin Turen.
Filming finally started this January, and the new season is expected to be released sometime next year.
