Tauseef Ahmed: PCB Takes Responsibility Of Treatment

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken responsibility for all the expenditures; for the treatment of legendary Pakistani cricketer Tauseef Ahmed suffering from a Cardiac attack.

As per reports, PCB will bear all the expenses of the Hospital as he is an asset of Pakistan Cricket.

A few days ago the legendary cricketer has suffered from a cardiac attack; and after that, he admitted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).


PCB officials said that they are continuously in touch with the Tauseef Ahmed family.

Reportedly, he was attending a wedding in Lahore when Tauseef Ahmed complained about a cardiac issue.

Furthermore, PCB will also accommodate the former Test cricketer; Tauseef Ahmed at the National High-Performance Centre until he gets fine completely.
Pakistan’s legend tended to be overshadowed by his more illustrious colleagues; Abdul Qadir and Iqbal Qasim, but he was a skilled and cunning offspinner.

Born on 10 May 1958; he is a former Pakistani cricketer; who played in 34 Test matches and 70 One Day Internationals; between 1980 and 1993.

He also sported a trademark afro and mustache for most of his career.
Tauseef was born in Karachi, Sindh, and made his first-class debut in early 1979 for PWD against PIA.
