Taylor Swift and Bradley Cooper are auctioning off their guitars for Covid-19 relief.

The American singer, Taylor Swift is auctioning off her guitar, the one she played ‘Betty’ with.

The online auction is called NASHVILLE:

An Auction To Benefit ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund, and is run by by auction house Christie’s.

Taylor is auctioning her autographed guitar to raise COVID-19 relief funds.

The black 2018 Gibson acoustic guitar has been personally inscribed and dated by Swift, and is estimated to go for anywhere up to $40,000 USD.

Taylor’s guitar is a piece of country music history.

She most recently used it on stage at the country music awards to play Betty from her latest album Folklore at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Swift’s performance of the ‘Folklore’ fan-favorite was notable as it marked the first time she had performed at the ACM Awards in seven years. She later released the audio of the performance on streaming services.

The guitar comes with a case, strap and five personalized Taylor Swift guitar picks.

Including one commemorating her 2017 album ‘reputation’ and the other four commemorating her 2019 album ‘Lover’.

The gorgeous instrument has a rosewood fingerboard, a mother-of-pearl inlay and is wired so you can hook it up to an amp for that full rock star feel.

It is estimated that the guitar will sell between $20,000 to $40,000.

It’s said that Bradley Cooper is also auctioning his guitar, the one he played in “A star is born”.

Another new addition to the auction that arrives today is the semi-hollow Gibson guitar Bradley Cooper used alongside Lady Gaga during the rehearsals for and filming of 2018’s A Star Is Born.

The first item that was announced for this auction was:

Dolly Parton’s guitar which is a Swarovski-crystal bedazzled four-string dulcimer.

The country music legend owned this guitar for 30 years.

Parton said in a press statement:

“Seeing my country music community suffer due to the pandemic has broken my heart.”

She further stated:

“It was important to donate the dulcimer that was designed for my 50th Opry Anniversary so we can raise awareness and much needed funds to keep these folks on their feet before we can open the doors to our stages once again.”
